The NGXASI declined today by 0.30% to close at 96,834.77pts, as losses in UBA (-9.99%), OANDO (-9.98%) and AIRTELAFRI (-1.96%) drove the local bourse into the negative terrain.
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market closed bearish due to selloffs majorly on the long tenor instrument. Consequently, Average T-Bills yield inched up by 6bps to close at 24.00%. Meanwhile, the FGN Bond market traded on a flattish note as the Average FGN Bond yield remained unchanged to close at 19.46%.
At the NAFEM window, the Naira weakened by 0.63% to close at NGN1,681.85/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) settled lower by 0.56% to USD75.11pb.
