Sector Performances: Banking (+0.63%), Oil & Gas (-0.04%), Consumer Goods and Industrial.

Market activity: In today’s trade, total volume and value declined by 60% and 52% respectively, when compared to this time yesterday, as investors have traded about 184 million units of shares worth NGN4.78 billion. 

STERLINGNG (-0.58%) is the most traded stock by volume with about 82 million units of shares accounting for 45% of the total volume. 

GTCO (-0.19%) is the most traded stock by value with about NGN1.06 billion worth of shares accounting for 22% of the total value. 

Likely close: In the absence of any significant decline in the share prices of AIRTELAFRI, DANGCEM and MTNN, the market should close positive.
