The NGXASI declined today by 0.18% to close at 97,892.02pts, as the selling pressure noted in FBNH (-5.75%), WAPCO (-5.26%) and UBA (-1.67%) drove the local bourse into the red zone.
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market was mostly positive today as yields had declined across all tenor instruments. As such, Average T-Bills yield was down by 4bps to close at 24.03%. Likewise, the FGN Bond market traded was slightly bullish today as the Average FGN Bond yield fell by 1bp to close at 19.40%.
At the NAFEM window, the Naira strengthened by 0.36% to close at NGN1,652.65/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) rose by 0.58% to USD74.66pb.
