The NGXASI advanced by 0.23% today to close at 97,733.86pts, following gains recorded in WAPCO (+10.00%), ACCESSCORP (+3.23%) and UBA (+1.22%) which drove the domestic bourse into the green zone.

In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a positive note, largely due to buy pressure seen across the curve. Thus, Average T-Bills yield declined by 5bps to close at 25.11%. Meanwhile, the FGN Bond market closed flat as the Average FGN Bond yield remained unchanged at 19.46%.

At the NAFEM window, the Naira remained unchanged to close at NGN1,672.69/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) rose by 0.39% to USD72.12pb.
