Top Gainers and Losers: TIP (+9.72%), FTNCOCOA (+9.50%), HMCALL (-9.15%) and DAARCOMM (-8.93%).

Sector Performances: Oil & Gas (+3.12%), Industrial (+0.86%), Banking (+0.02%) and Consumer Goods (-0.62%).

Market activity: In today’s trade, total volume and value decreased by 74% and 38% respectively, when compared to this time yesterday, as investors have traded about 248 million units of shares worth NGN13.53 billion. 

TANTALIZER (-2.46%) is the most traded stock by volume with about 87 million units of shares accounting for 35% of the total volume. 

SEPLAT (+7.55%) is the most traded stock by value with about NGN7.95 billion worth of shares accounting for 59% of the total value. 

Likely close: Barring any significant decline in the share prices of AIRTELAFRI, DANGCEM and MTNN, the market should close positive.
