The NGXASI advanced by 0.10% today to close at 98,210.75pts, as gains in ACCESSCORP (+3.12%), UBA (+1.345%) and GTCO (+0.85%) drove the domestic bourse into the green terrain.

In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a negative note, largely due to selloffs observed on the short and long tenor instruments. As such, Average T-Bills yield increased by 8bps to close at 25.78%. Meanwhile, the FGN Bond market closed somewhat flat as the Average FGN Bond yield marginally increased by 1bps to 19.49%.

At the NAFEM window, the Naira remained unchanged to close at NGN1,672.69/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) settled lower by 1.35% to USD71.12pb.
