Top Gainers and Losers: GOLDBREW (+9.93%), GUINEAINS (+9.80%), WAPCO (-7.80%) and UNIVINSURE (-5.71%).

Sector Performances: Oil & Gas (+1.65%), Industrial (-0.08%), Banking (-0.03%) and Consumer Goods (-0.01%).

Market activity: In today’s trade, total volume and value increased by 240% and 34% respectively, when compared to this time yesterday, as investors have traded about 730 million units of shares worth NGN7.20 billion. 

WAPIC (+7.69%) is the most traded stock by volume with about 455 million units of shares accounting for 62% of the total volume. 

MTNN (+2.88%) is the most traded stock by value with about NGN4.13 billion worth of shares accounting for 57% of the total value. 

Likely close: In the absence of any major decline in the share prices of AIRTELAFRI, DANGCEM and MTNN, the market should close positive.
