The NGXASI advanced by 0.09% today to close at 102,183.06pts as the bullish sentiments witnessed in DANGSUGAR (+9.90%), DANGCEM (+3.12%) and GTCO (-1.13%) drove the local bourse into the green.

In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a positive note, driven by the gains observed across all tenors of the curve. As such, Average T-Bills yield rose by 6bps to close at 25.18%. Meanwhile, the FGN Bond market traded on a bearish note as the Average FGN Bond yield rose by 7bps to close at 20.04%.

At the NAFEM window, the Naira gained by 0.17% to close at NGN1,548.47/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) fell by 0.85% to USD81.33pb.
