Top Gainers and Losers: CHELLARAM (+9.98%), STANBIC (+9.92%), MCNICHOLS (-10.00%) and THOMASWY (-9.80%).

Sector Performances: Banking (+0.51%), Consumer Goods (+0.47%), Industrial (+0.01%) and Oil & Gas (-0.09%).

Market activity: In today’s trade, total volume and value decreased by 33% and 30% respectively, when compared to this time yesterday, as investors have traded about 183 million units of shares worth NGN4.73 billion. 

FIDELITYBK (-1.53%) is the most traded stock by volume with about 26 million units of shares accounting for 14% of the total volume. 

ARADEL (+9.26%) is the most traded stock by value with about NGN1.32 billion worth of shares accounting for 28% of the total value. 

Likely close: In the absence of any substantial decline in the share prices of AIRTELAFRI, DANGCEM and MTNN, the market should close positive.
