The NGXASI declined by 0.07% today to close at 108,497.40pts, as the losses recorded in OANDO (-4.92%), ZENITHBANK (-1.10%) and UBA (-1.19%) drove the domestic bourse into the red zone.
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a slightly positive note, driven by the buying interest observed across the curve. Resultantly, Average T-Bills yield moderated by 2bps to close at 20.19%. Likewise, the FGN Bond market exhibited a bullish performance as the Average FGN Bond yield declined by 32bps to close at 19.47%.
According to the FMDQ FX closing rate, the Naira weakened by 0.47% to close at NGN1,501.08/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) plummeted by 2.00% to USD74.95pb.
