The NGXASI dipped by 0.07% today to close at 106,090.38pts, as selloffs observed in CONOIL (-10.00%), DANGSUGAR (-3.00%) and UBA (-1.60%) drove the domestic bourse into the red zone.
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a flattish note, mostly driven by the tepid activities across the short end of the curve. As such, Average T-Bills yield traded flat to close at 19.16%. Meanwhile, the FGN Bond market was bearish as the Average FGN Bond yield rose marginally by 1bp to close at 18.44%.
According to the NFEM closing rate, the Naira depreciated by 0.59% to close at NGN1,546.00/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) advanced by 2.00% to USD70.95pb.
