The NGXASI declined by 0.10% today to close at 105,485.99pts, as losses in MTNN (-2.69%), ZENITHBANK (+1.11%) and FIRSTHOLDCO (-0.69%) buoyed the domestic bourse into the red terrain.

In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market closed positive driven by bullish sentiment observed across the benchmark curve. As such, Average T-Bills yield moderated by 1bp to close at 19.23%. Meanwhile, the FGN Bond market traded on a flattish note as the Average FGN Bond yield remained unchanged to close at 18.66%.

At the NFEM window, the Naira depreciated by 0.34% to close at NGN1,537.62/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) edged higher by 1.34% to USD74.00pb.
