NGXASI Dips -0.12%, Dragged by FIRSTHOLDCO, OANDO, WAPCO

The NGXASI declined by 0.12% today to close at 105,547.16pts, as selloffs in OANDO (-5.48%), FIRSTHOLDCO (-3.02%) and WAPCO (-1.63%) drove the domestic bourse into the negative region.

In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market closed negative driven by bearish sentiment observed across the short and mid tenor instruments. As such, Average T-Bills yield rose by 11bps to close at 19.55%. Elsewhere, the FGN Bond market traded on a flat note as the Average FGN Bond yield remained unchanged to close at 18.69%.

At the NFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 0.36% to close at NGN1,531.25/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) fell by 0.46% to USD74.83pb.
