The NGXASI declined by 0.02% today to close at 105,525.26pts, as selloffs in FIRSTHOLDCO (-4.58%), PZ (-9.97%) and OANDO (-2.19%) drove the domestic bourse into the negative region.

In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market closed slightly positive driven by bullish sentiment observed across all tenor instruments. As such, Average T-Bills yield fell by 3bps to close at 19.52%. Elsewhere, the FGN Bond market traded on a flat note as the Average FGN Bond yield remained unchanged to close at 18.68%.

At the NFEM window, the Naira depreciated by 1.39% to close at NGN1,552.53/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) fell by 6.68% to USD69.94pb.
