The NGXASI declined by 0.30% today to close at 105,753.05pts, as losses in DANGCEM (-10.00%), OKOMUOIL (-3.76%) and TRANSCORP (-1.94%) drove the domestic equities market into the red zone.
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded slightly negative driven by selloffs at the long end of the benchmark curve. Consequently, Average T-Bills yield increased by 1bp to close at 20.83%. However, the FGN Bond market traded on a positive note as the Average FGN Bond yield moderated by 1bp to close at 19.02%.
At the NFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 0.14% to close at NGN1,599.55/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) ticked higher by 0.27% to USD66.73pb.
