Sector Performances: Banking (+0.64%), Consumer Goods (-1.13%), Oil & Gas (-0.13%) and Industrial.

Market activity: In today’s trade, total volume and value declined by 20% and 10% respectively when compared to this time yesterday, as investors have traded about 227 million units of shares worth NGN7.63 billion. 

GTCO is the most traded stock by volume and value with about 71 million units of shares and NGN2.92 billion worth of shares accounting for 31% and 38% of the total volume and value respectively. 

Likely close: Without any significant depreciation in the share prices of AIRTELAFRI, DANGCEM and MTNN, the market should close positive.
