The NGXASI advanced by 0.46% today to close at 108,763.34pts, as the gains printed in TRANSCORP (+9.99%), OANDO (+10.00%) and NB (+9.47%) pushed the local equities market into the green.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market exhibited a mild positive performance due to the buying interest observed at the long end of the curve. As a result, Average T-Bills yield moderated by 1bp to close at 20.94%. Likewise, the FGN Bond market traded on a slightly positive note as the Average FGN Bond yield moderated by 1bp to close at 19.05%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira marginally appreciated by 0.03% to close at NGN1,600.03/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) increased by 2.71% to USD66.72pb.
