The NGXASI advanced by 0.37% today to close at 109,467.64pts, as the uptick in the share price of TRANSCOHOT (+6.19%), NESTLE (+10.00%) and ACCESSCORP (+2.56%) propelled the Nigerian bourse into the green.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a mixed note as yields slightly moved in different directions across the curve. Consequently, Average T-Bills yield closed flat at 20.93%. However, the FGN Bond market traded on a marginally negative note as the Average FGN Bond yield inched up by 1bp to close at 19.04%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira weakened by 0.16% to close at NGN1,599.33/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) decreased by 2.38% to USD64.52pb.
