The NGXASI declined by 0.01% today to close at 109,697.83pts, driven by losses in TRANSCOHOT (-5.64%), FIDELITYBK (-3.85%) and MTNN (-1.08%) which pushed the local equities market into the negative zone.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a bullish note as yields declined across the curve, amid buying pressure from investors. As a result, Average T-Bills yield decreased by 4bps to close at 20.81%. Elsewhere, the FGN Bond market traded on a negative note as the Average FGN Bond yield rose by 4bps to close at 19.06%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira closed flat at NGN1,598.69/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) increased by 0.23% to USD65.56pb.
