The NGXASI declined by 0.10% today to close at 109,619.10pts, driven by selloffs in OANDO (-4.76%), ACCESSCORP (-4.17%) and UBA (-1.74%) which drove the local equities market into the red terrain.
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a quiet note as investors shifted focus to the T-bills primary market auction held today. Consequently, Average T-Bills yield remained unchanged to close at 20.79%. Elsewhere, the FGN Bond market traded on a positive note as the Average FGN Bond yield moderated by 2bps to close at 19.05%.
At the NFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 0.37% to close at NGN1,584.50/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) settled lower by 0.29% to USD65.19pb.
