The NGXASI declined by 0.14% today to close at 109,028.62pts, as losses in TRANSCOHOT (-9.95%), NB (-5.10%) and MTNN (-1.82%) drove the domestic bourse into the red terrain.
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a bearish note mostly due to selloffs at the long end of the benchmark curve. Consequently, Average T-Bills yield rose by 7bps to close at 20.79%. Elsewhere, the FGN Bond market traded on a quiet note as the Average FGN Bond yield remained flat to close at 18.99%.
At the NFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 0.28% to close at NGN1,580.44/USD yesterday. Crude oil price (Brent) edged higher by 0.45% to USD64.73pb.
