NGXASI Dips -0.08% on Losses in Seplat, Oando, GTCO

The NGXASI declined by 0.08% today to close at 111,818.08pts, as the negative sentiment in SEPLAT (-10.00%), GTCO (-0.72%) and OANDO (-2.04%) drove the domestic bourse into the negative region.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market remained positive for the fourth straight day of the week, as the positive momentum spread across all tenors of the curve. Consequently, Average T-Bills yield declined by 1bp to close at 20.67%. Similarly, the FGN Bond market traded bullish as the Average FGN Bond yield declined by 2bps to close at 18.81%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 0.29% to close at NGN1,586.15/USD yesterday. Crude oil price (Brent) declined by 0.91% to USD64.31pb.
