NGXASI Dips -0.07%, Dragged by GTCO, CONOIL, OANDO

The NGXASI declined by 0.07% today to close at 111,742.01pts, as the negative sentiment in GTCO (-2.90%), OANDO (-5.83%) and CONOIL (-9.99%) drove the domestic bourse into the negative region.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market ended its four-day positive streak to close negative today, as the profit taking activities observed across the short and mid tenor instruments. Consequently, Average T-Bills yield rose by 7bps to close at 20.74%. Conversely, the FGN Bond market traded bullish as the Average FGN Bond yield declined by 4bps to close at 18.83%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira remained stable to close at NGN1,586.15/USD yesterday. Crude oil price (Brent) declined by 0.45% to USD63.86pb.
