NGXASI Declines -0.30%, Dragged by Bellwether Counters

The NGXASI declined by 0.30% today to close at 114,910.16pts, as losses in OANDO (-9.97%), UBA (-5.57%) and FIRSTHOLDCO (-4.15%) drove the local bourse into the red zone.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a flattish note ahead of the T-bills primary market auction scheduled for tomorrow. As such, Average T-Bills yield morderated by 1bp to close at 20.61%. Elsewhere, the FGN Bond market traded on a quiet note as the Average FGN Bond yield remained unchanged to close at 18.84%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira depreciated by 0.04% to close at NGN1,545.27/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) inched up by 2.02% to USD74.71pb.
