The NGXASI advanced by 1.02% today to close at 119,790.82pts, as advancements in BUACEMENT (+4.66%), WAPCO (+9.13%) and MTNN (+1.02%) drove the local bourse into the green terrain.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a positive note. As such, Average T-Bills yield fell by 11bps to close at 20.36%. However, the FGN Bond market traded on a flat note as the Average FGN Bond yield remained unchanged to close at 18.57%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira depreciated by 0.03% to close at NGN1,549.04/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) settled lower by 5.72% to trade at USD67.39pb.
