The NGXASI advanced by 1.22% today to close at 121,257.69pts, as the bullish sentiments in large cap stocks, BUACEMENT (+8.70%), ZENITHBANK (+9.43%) and OANDO (+10.00%) drove the local equities market into the positive region.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a positive note. As such, Average T-Bills yield fell by 4bps to close at 20.32%. However, the FGN Bond market traded on a flat note as the Average FGN Bond yield remained unchanged to close at 18.57%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira depreciated by 0.01% to close at NGN1,549.26/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) slightly rose by 1.46% to trade at USD68.12pb.
