The NGXASI advanced by 0.43% today to close at 126,689.54pts, as gains recorded in TRANSCORP (+7.51%), BUACEMENT (+5.32%) and DANGCEM (+1.18%) drove the local bourse into the green zone.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a slightly negative note due to selloffs observed on the long tenor instrument of the benchmark curve. As a result, the Average T-Bills yield marginally increased by 1bp to close at 18.36%. However, the FGN Bond market traded on a positive note as the Average FGN Bond yield moderated by 2bps to close at 16.85%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 0.74% to close at NGN1,518.89/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) settled lower by 1.34% to USD69.42pb.
