The NGXASI advanced by 1.02% today to close at 130,282.79pts, as gains in BUACEMENT (+10.00%), DANGCEM (+9.99%) and FIRSTHOLDCO (+9.94%) drove the local bourse into the green zone.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a slightly positive note due to buy pressure observed on the short and long end of the benchmark curve. As a result, the Average T-Bills yield moderated by 1bp to close at 18.34%. Likewise, the FGN Bond market traded on a positive note as the Average FGN Bond yield fell by 8bps to close at 16.64%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira weakened by 0.19% to close at NGN1,533.11/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) ticked higher by 0.70% to USD69.00pb.
