Today, the Nigerian Stock Exchange Market closed on a slightly positive note following share price appreciation in MTNN (+4.32%) and WAPCO (+7.63%). As a result, the benchmark All-Share Index (NGX-ASI) rose by 1.00% to close at 139,286.91 points.
Year to date returns rose to 35.33%, while market capitalisation closed at N88.06tn. Activity level in the market was mixed with the total value of stocks traded rising by 11.58% to settle at N34.17bn. Meanwhile, the total volume of stocks traded fell by 3.73% to settle at 905.73 million units.
