The NGXASI boosted by 1.00% today to close at 141,263.05pts, as gains in BUACEMENT (+9.63%) , BUAFOODS (+5.32%) and MTNN (+1.69%), drove the bullish sentiment in the local bourse.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market closed the day with negative sentiments across the short tenors of the benchmark curve. As a result, the Average T-Bills yield climbed by 3bps to close at 17.80%. In line, the FGN Bond market traded on a bearish note as the Average FGN Bond yield rose by 9bps to close at 16.39%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira depreciated by 0.01% to close at NGN1,533.74/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) declined by 3.05% to USD69.51pb.
