The NGXASI advanced by 0.50% today to close at 144,796.37pts, as gains in BUACEMENT (+10.00%), OANDO (+5.69%) and UNILEVER (+7.38%), drove the local bourse into the green zone.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a relatively quiet note as investors shifted focus to the upcoming primary market auction scheduled for tomorrow. As a result, the Average T-Bills yield moderated slightly by 1bp to close at 17.77%. However, the FGN Bond market traded on a negative note as the Average FGN Bond yield rose by 3bps to close at 16.49%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira depreciated by 0.08% to close at NGN1,533.10/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) declined by 1.24% to USD67.91pb.
