The NGXASI advanced by 0.70% today to close at 145,813.86pts, as gains in TRANSCOHOT (+9.95%), OANDO (+9.46%) and BUACEMENT (+7.33%), drove the local bourse into the green zone.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a relatively muted note as investors shifted focus to T-bills primary market auction held today. As a result, the Average T-Bills yield inched up slightly by 1bp to close at 17.78%. However, the FGN Bond market traded on a positive note as the Average FGN Bond yield moderate by 1bp to close at 16.48%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira depreciated by 0.09% to close at NGN1,534.44/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) settled lower by 0.34% to USD67.41pb.
