The NGXASI advanced by 0.12% today to close at 146,055.16pts, as buy pressure on JBERGER (+9.99%), WAPCO (+6.06%) and UBA (+1.257%) propelled the domestic bourse into the green zone.
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a slightly negative note, driven by selloffs at the short to mid end of the benchmark curve. As a result, the Average T-Bills yield marginally rose by 2bps to close at 17.90%. However, the FGN Bond market traded on of slightly positive note as the Average FGN Bond yield moderated by 1bp to close at 16.51%.
At the NFEM window, the Naira depreciated by 0.08% to close at NGN1,537.09/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) settled lower by 0.74% to USD66.14pb.
