The NGXASI advanced by 0.07% today to close at 144,722.47pts, as gains in DANGSUGAR (+9.74%), CUSTODIAN (+9.20%) and UNILEVER (+6.99%) drove the domestic bourse into the green zone for the first day of the trading week.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market closed negative, majorly due to losses observed at the short and mid end of the benchmark curve. As a result, the Average T-Bills yield increased by 2bps to close at 17.98%. Meanwhile, the FGN Bond market traded on a positive note as the Average FGN Bond yield declined by 1bp to close at 16.61%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 0.08% to close at NGN1,533.67/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) traded higher by 0.41% to close at USD66.12pb.
