The NGXASI advanced by 0.41% today to close at 140,365.36pts, as the gains in UNILEVER (+6.33%), WAPCO (+6.71%) and DANGCEM (+1.50%) drove the local bourse into the green zone.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a negative note, following selloffs at the mid to long end of the benchmark curve. Consequently, the Average T-Bills yield advanced by 3bps to close at 18.79%. However, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a bullish note as the Average FGN Bond yield fell by 15bps to close at 16.68%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 0.34% to close at NGN1,500.92/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) edged higher by 2.05% to close at USD67.75pb.
