The NGXASI declined by 0.40% today to close at 140,929.60pts, as prices fell in GTCO (-3.23%), WAPCO (-4.00%) and DANGSUGAR (-10.00%) drove the local equities market to the negative region.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on positive note across the long tenors of the benchmark curve. Consequently, the Average T-Bills yield decreased by 5bps to close at 18.36%. Likewise, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a mildly positive note as the Average FGN Bond yield fell by 1bp to close at 16.48%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 0.08% to close at NGN1,487.37/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) increased by 1.94% to close at USD67.86pb.
