The NGXASI declined by 0.15% today to close at 140,716.10pts, as prices fell in MTNN (-4.80%), JAIZBANK (-4.44%) and WAPIC (-8.75%) drove the local equities market to the negative region.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on slightly positive note across all tenors of the benchmark curve. Consequently, the Average T-Bills yield decreased by 1bp to close at 18.35%. Although, the FGN Bond secondary market was a bit bearish today as the Average FGN Bond yield rose by 4bps to close at 16.52%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira declined by 0.08% to close at NGN1,488.56/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) increased by 2.40% to close at USD69.25pb.
