The NGXASI rose by 0.69% today to close at 142,132.02pts, as the gains in WAPCO (+6.47%), DANGCEM (+1.72%) and MTNN (+1.20%) drove the local equities market to the positive region.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a slightly positive note on the long end of the benchmark curve. Consequently, the Average T-Bills yield declined by 36bps to close at 17.99%. Similarly, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a marginally positive note today as the Average FGN Bond yield moderated by 1bp to close at 16.51%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 0.51% to close at NGN1,480.66/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) boosted by 0.81% to close at USD69.98pb.
