The NGXASI advanced by 0.02% today to close at 147,741.77pts, as gains in TRANSCORP (+4.19%), STANBIC (+1.61%) and NESTLE (+1.23%) drove the local bourse into the positive region.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a slightly flattish to positive note, following the mild decreases observed across all tenors of the benchmark curve. Consequently, the Average T-Bills yield moderated by 1bp to close at 17.37%. Elsewhere, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a relatively bullish note as the Average FGN Bond yield closed decreased by 3bps to close at 15.98%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira depreciated by 0.69% to close at NGN 1,473.29/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) declined by 0.54% to close at USD62.05pb.
