The NGXASI declined by 0.22% today to close at 143,210.33pts, as losses recorded in INTBREW (-10.00%), DANGSUGAR (-1.61%) and WAPCO (-0.45%) drove the local equities market into the red zone.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded slightly positive, due to buy pressure observed across the benchmark curve. Consequently, the Average T-Bills yield fell by 2bps to close at 16.82%. However, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a relatively muted note as the Average FGN Bond yield remained unchanged to close flat at 15.61%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira weakened by 0.12% to close at NGN 1,448.44/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) edged higher by 1.30% to close at USD63.19pb.
