The NGXASI advanced today by 0.93% to close at 162,298.08pts, as gains in DANGSUGAR (+9.23%), MTNN (+7.63%) and WAPCO (+2.04%) drove the local bourse into the green.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a bearish note across all three tenors on the benchmark curve. As such, the Average T-Bills yield rose by 23bps to close at 18.02%. Elsewhere, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a slightly bearish note as the Average FGN Bond yield rose by 3bps to close at 16.76%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira marginally declined by 0.24% to close at NGN 1,423.17/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) rose by 2.23% to close at USD63.37pb.
