The NGXASI boosted today by 1.58% to close at 165,837.32pts, as gains in MTNN (+10.00%), UBA (+4.43%) and FIRSTHOLDCO (+2.06%), drove the local bourse into the green.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a tepid note across all three tenors on the benchmark curve. As such, the Average T-Bills yield rose slightly by 1bp to close at 18.02%. Meanwhile, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a bearish note as the Average FGN Bond yield advanced by 20bps to close at 17.03%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira marginally advanced by 0.13% to close at NGN 1,419.66/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) rose by 3.02% to close at USD65.80pb.
