The NGXASI increased today by 0.56% to close at 166,771.95pts, as gains in SEPLAT (+8.57%), TRANSCORP (+3.12%) and ZENITHBANK (+1.47%), drove the local bourse into the green.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a tepid note across all three tenors on the benchmark curve. As such, the Average T-Bills yield rose by 17bp to close at 18.18%. Meanwhile, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a slightly positive note as the Average FGN Bond yield declined by 1bps to close at 17.02%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira marginally declined by 0.03% to close at NGN 1,420.04/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) rose by 0.78% to close at USD65.98pb.
