The NGXASI advanced by 0.09% to close at 166,259.59pts, as the gains recorded in ZENITHBANK (+0.84%), NEM (+9.03%) and CHAMPION (+8.83%) drove the local bourse into the green.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market exhibited a slight negative momentum given the mild selloffs observed across the benchmark curve. As a result, the Average T-Bills yield rose by 4bps to close at 18.14%. Elsewhere, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a tepid note as the Average FGN Bond yield inched up by 1bp to close at 16.87%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 0.07% to close at NGN 1,419.35/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) increased by 1.41% to close at USD64.84pb.
