The NGXASI advanced by 0.12% to close at 165,713.82pts, as gains recorded in FIDELITYBK (+4.50%), TRANSCORP (+2.00%) and WAPCO (+0.64%), drove the local bourse into the green zone.
 
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a relatively muted note following mild buy interest seen across the benchmark curve. Consequently, the Average T-Bills yield moderated by 1bp to close at 18.46%. Similarly, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a quiet note as the Average FGN Bond yield moderated by 2bps to close at 16.87%.
 
At the NFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 1.25% to close at NGN 1,401.22/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) edged higher by 1.48% to close at USD66.56pb.
