The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) has released the Q4 2025 GDP data, showing continued economic expansion with notable sectoral dynamics:
- Real GDP (YoY): 4.07% Q4’25 vs 3.98% Q3’25
- Oil GDP (YoY): 6.79% Q4’25 vs 5.84% Q3’25
- Non-Oil GDP (YoY): 3.99% Q4’25 vs 3.91% Q3’25
Sector Performance:
- Agriculture: Grew 4.00% y/y, supported by strong crop production
- Industry: Expanded by 3.88% y/y, reflecting broader industrial pickup.
- Services: Grew 4.15% y/y, remaining the largest contributor to aggregate GDP, accounting for 55.9%.
Full-Year 2025:
Nigeria’s overall real GDP growth in 2025 was 3.87%, up from about 3.38% in 2024, highlighting improved activity across the economy.
