The NGXASI declined by 0.02% to close at 200,913.06pts, as the losses recorded in NB (-3.41%), STANBIC (-1.77%) and MTNN (-0.15) drove the Nigerian equities market into the negative zone.
In the fixed income space, the Treasury Bills secondary market traded on a bullish note due to the buying interest observed across the curve. As a result, the Average T-Bills yield declined by 22bps to settle at 17.60%. However, the FGN Bond secondary market traded on a flattish note as the Average FGN Bond yield remained unchanged at 15.77%.
At the NFEM window, the Naira appreciated by 0.24% to close at NGN 1,380.58/USD. Crude oil price (Brent) increased by 5.39% to close at USD113.83pb.
