ACAMB: to brainstorm on global banking challenges

The Association of Corporate Affairs Managers of Banks (ACAMB) is set to brainstorm on the global banking challenges at its year 2010 Annual Public Lecture titled “The Challenges Facing Banks Globally…How Nigerian Stakeholders Should Respond”

 

 

Eddy Ademosu, President of the Association made this affirmation to investadvocate

Monday July 12 2010 in Lagos Nigeria. “We are set to collaborate with The Banker London, one of the most prestigious and authoritative financial journals in holding this year’s ACAMB Annual Public Lecture” Ademosu affirmed.

 

The ACAMB President confirmed to investadvocate that the Guest Speaker at the event would be Brian Caplen, Editor of The Banker Magazine London. “Caplen regularly appears on the BBC, CNN, CNBC and Al Jazeera to comment on international banking and financial issues” he said.

 

The Chairman of the event is Umaru Ibrahim, Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer (MD/CEO) of the Nigerian Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC). While the Special Guest of Honour is Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, Governor, Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

 

Other notable Economic and Financial Analyst as Discussants include Rewane Bismarck MD of Financial Derivatives Limited and Doyin Salami of the Lagos Business School (LBS).

 

The Annual Public Lecture is scheduled to hold at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs (NIIA) Lagos Nigeria on Tuesday 27 July 2010 at 11.00 am.
