The plans to hold its 19th Delegates Conference and Annual General Meeting tomorrow, July 16th to Saturday, July 17th 2010 at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja. The theme of the Conference is: “The Reform Agenda: Striking a Balance between Economic Growth and Effective Risk Management.â€ÂÂ

FMDA said in a statement that other highlights of this year’s conference and AGM would be discussions around Quantitative Easing and Impact on Assets Pricing as well as Current Euro-Zone Crisis and Impact on African Markets: Implications for Nigeria.The Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, is expected to present a keynote address that will further outline the framework for laying a robust foundation for medium and long-term financial system stability.

Dignitaries expected to present papers and lead discussions at the event include: Director – General, Securities & Exchange Commission, Ms Arunma Oteh; Chief Consultant B. Adedipe Associates, Dr. ‘Biodun Adedipe; and Chief Economist, BusinessDay, Dr. Ogho Okiti.
