Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, the Governor Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has commended Arunma Oteh, Director General (DG) of the Apex Capital Market Regulatory Institution the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on the sack of Aliko Dangote and Professor (Mrs.) Ndi Okereke-Onyiuke as President of Council and DG of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) respectively.

 

The Governor of CBN made the commendation in a keynote address titled “Enhancing the Flow of Credit to the Manufacturing Sector in Nigeria through the Ongoing Banking Sector Reform” delivered at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (M.A.N) on Thursday August 05 2010 in Lagos Nigeria.

 

Sanusi commended Oteh for her determination to clear the mess at the Nation’s Stock Exchange while emphasising the need for a comprehensive reform of the financial sector.
